This piece of poetry doesnt seem very deep. I got from it that the author is trying to emphasize the conditions that chimney sweepers dealt with, usually very young. Unless I am really missing something, this poem was fairly simple.
As for London, this was a little harder to follow. There were some words I had to google but it wasnt terrible. It seems like the poes is supposed to be about a sad time. Every stanza he talks about someone crying or feeling bad. Its hard to tell if one evenst set off this bad time, or if its something that has finally come to a breaking point. I would guess people are finally coming to a resolution about their future and feel terrible.
